How do I Consolidate my files?

Using Castaway's add-on Consolidations feature, you can choose to Consolidate several Castaway files to obtain a group report. There is no limit to the number of files you can Consolidate and you can even choose to consolidate Consolidated (.pxic) files if you like.

The steps to create a Consolidated file are as follow:

1. In the Castaway main screen, click on New Consolidation to begin creating a new consolidated file
2. If you are unable to click on this option i.e. it’s greyed out or if nothing happens when you do, this means that the add-on is not part of your current subscription. If you wish to add this on, please reach out to our Accounts Team at [e-mail]
3. A new window will appear. Enter your group’s company name and add in a report subtitle or description if applicable
4. Click on Add Forecast and select the files that you want to roll up into the Consolidated file
5. Remove any forecast files you do not require by clicking on the red minus symbol
6. Enter a Minority Interest % and Currency Exchange Rate if applicable
7. Once you’re happy with the settings, click on OK to generate your Consolidated file
8. You can always change any part of this screen by going to Setup in your Consolidated file
9. Don’t forget to save your new Consolidated file by going to File > Save
