System Requirements

The minimum system requirements for Castaway are:

Supported Operating Systems: Windows 8 and newer versions, Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 and newer versions. 32 and 64 bit versions are supported where available

Processor: 1GHz Pentium processor or equivalent

RAM: 512MB when using the standard version and at least 1GB when using the Consolidation Add-on Module

Hard Disk: 45MB for the software (a further 250MB required if the .NET Framework is not already installed)

Display: 1024 x 768 high colour

 Before installation, ensure you have the following:

• The latest Service Pack and all critical updates for your Operating System
• minimum of Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2 (installer is available from https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-framework/net472)

To ensure better performance, we recommend using the 64bit version of Castaway on a machine with at least 8GB of RAM.
