Can I use the Castaway trial version for free to do specific work?

 

We get this question from time to time. The short answer is no. The long answer is also no.

We offer a free trial solely so people new to Castaway can make an informed decision whether to subscribe to Castaway or not. The trial period provides plenty of time to play with Castaway, see how it works and decide whether it fits your needs.

 

If you are using Castaway during the trial period to work towards a specific outcome ... you've already decided it fits your needs. If you're creating value, it's only fair that we have a commercial relationship.

1. If you are using the Castaway trial version to do professional work that you will charge a fee for ... you've already decided it fits your needs
2. If you are using the Castaway trial version to do work that you will be presenting to someone (say an external lender or an internal management team) ... you've already decided it first your needs
3. if you are using the Castaway trial version to do anything that secures you a benefit, an opportunity or some form of value ... you've already decided it fits your needs
